The company s legal predecessor was founded in 1990 with a view to take part in the restructuring of the Hungarian capital market during the regime change. It earned its reputation first as a financial advisor, but soon became known for its rapidly expanding range of services as well. QUAESTOR Pénzügyi Tanácsadó Zrt. (QUASTOR Financial Consulting Pte. Ltd.) has established a series of affiliated companies bearing the name QUAESTOR, a purposeful attempt at brand name development from the outset. The scope of its activities has expanded to include securities trading and investment fund management in 1993 and the tourism sector in 1995, moving into real estate development in 1996, and in 2002, into the telecommunications market.
