Business activity
The Issuer was established with the aim to carry out insurance activities and activities auxiliary to financial services. At present, the Issuer is engaged in the life insurance business in Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. The leading product offered by the Issuer in Hungary is unit-linked life insurance. The Issuer also offers several types of traditional life insurance products, insurance products covering funeral expenses, risk and mixed insurance products to its customers. Fee payment assumption upon death and supplemental accident insurance both of which may be chosen with certain other insurance products are also on the products palette of the Issuer. The Issuer conducts business - hence the sale of life insurance products linked to investments denominated in Euros - in Romania through its branch and as a passported company, by way of cross border activity in Slovakia.
