We have to address generational change “Family businesses are also suffering from a shortage of labour”, says László Bárány, president of Family Business Network Hungary (FBN-H). He stresses that as the economic crisis has shown, these businesses tend to be more adaptable and tolerate stress better than businesses that are not directly managed by their owners.
“Currently, the lack of skilled workers, and what to do about it are the most pressing issues in the Hungarian economy. According to our estimates, Hungary has a shortage of tens of thousands of skilled workers with marketable skills”, stated dr. Péter Futó, president of MGYOSZ, the Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists.
“We consider digitalization one of our top priorities; we operate multi-billion forint programmes in this field. It was our idea to put at least 60 percent of EU funding into the economy,” says Dr. László Parragh, president of the MKIK.
