Chairman and CEO, OTP Bank

In 1974 he received his degree as a certified economist at the College of Finance and Accounting and in 1980 he obtained a degree in economics at the Marx Károly University of Economics. He is an economist specialised in Finance and Statutory Auditor. After graduating from the University, he was employed by the Directorate-General for Revenue of the Ministry of Finance and the Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance and from 1983 until 1986 he was head of department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. From 1986 to 1989 he was head of department at Magyar Hitel Bank Rt.. He was Deputy CEO of K&H Bank between 1989 and 1992. Since 1992, he has been Chairman and CEO of OTP Bank. He is a member of the European Advisory Board of MasterCard and Vice President of MOL Plc., Co-chairman of the VOSZ National Association of Employers and Employees, and Co-Chairman of the Chinese-Hungarian Business Council. He has been the president of the MLSZ (Hungarian Football Federation) since July 2010, and a member of the UEFA Executive Committee since March 2015. Since April 2017, he has been a member of the FIFA Council, since February 2018, Vice President of FIFA.


Richárd VÉGH
Chairman and CEO, Budapest Stock Exchange

Richárd Végh was appointed CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange on 1 January 2016. He was elected as the Chairman of the Board on 16 March, 2017. Previously he worked at the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB) from October 2013 to December 2015, as Director of the Capital Market Supervision Directorate and was responsible for prudential supervision of capital market institutions in Hungary, market surveillance examinations concerning market manipulation, insider trading, and unauthorized financial services and was also responsible for the capital market issuer licensing. From 2004 till 2013 he worked at Budapest Stock Exchange in various positions.




Dr Balog was the President and the CEO of MKB Bank Zrt between July 2015 and July 2016, since July 2016 he has been the CEO of MKB Bank Zrt. Between March 2013 and July 2015 he was Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Hungary and member of the Monetary Council. Between 2010 and 2013 he worked as Deputy State Secretary responsible for taxation matters at the Ministry for National Economy. From 2002 he had worked at GE Tungsram Lighting Ltd and between 2003 and 2010 at the Tax Department of Pricewaterhouse Coopers Hungary Ltd. Dr Balog is an economist and lawyer. He is the member of the Board of Budapest Stock Exchange and the Board of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the vice president of the Hungarian Economic Association.



Luca Peyrano is CEO of ELITE, a company of the London Stock Exchange Group whose mission is to support private and public companies connecting with capital using the digital technology. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Luca started with Borsa Italiana in 1999 with responsibility for companies admission to listing and then moved on to manage the SMEs markets offering until year 2007. Following the merger with the London Stock Exchange he was appointed Head of Continental Europe for Primary Markets.



László Krisán is the CEO of KAVOSZ Zrt. which coordinates the Széchenyi Card Program; Vice-President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and President of the CCI College responsible for EU resource matters; and Chairman of the Commercial Section of the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers. As a financing expert in micro, small and medium enterprises, he is an active participant and a champion of the development of the SME sector, which operates as the spine of the Hungarian economy. An integral part of his vocation is responsibility for the future generation which is also reflected in his appointment as President of the Consistory of Corvinus University of Budapest.

Adrienn Berta
Executive Director - Business Management, Hungarian Development Bank

Dr. Adrienn Berta is the Executive Director of Business Management at the Hungarian Development Bank. She has a strong managerial background with experience in corporate finance and corporate law. After obtaining her degree at the University of Szeged, she was working at Baker&McKenzie law firm and at Imre és Társai law firm. Beside law degree, she obtained a degree in economics as well. From 2009 she was working at CIB Bank in various areas: she was responsible for the recovery strategy, the mortage house refinancing, the corporate and project finance management, and lastly corporate and residential refinancing.



CEO, Wallis Asset Management

Zsolt Müllner was appointed as CEO of Wallis Asset Management Ltd. in 2007, when he became a member of the board of directors of Graboplast Ltd. and WING Ltd. at the same time. As of 2013, he has also been the Chairman of Venturio Venture Capital Fund Management Ltd. He has had a defining role in the establishment of Alteo Energy Services Plc., where he has been a board member since the company’s foundation, and in taking the automotive branch of the Wallis Group to the stock exchange through Altera Wealth Management Plc., which is currently in progress. He worked as the managing director of Wallis Motor between 1994 and 2004. Martin Steinbach

Martin Steinbach has spent more than twenty years in the Corporate Finance field. He held different management positions in the Investment Banking (Head, GZ Bank AG), Private Equity (General Manager, GZ Capital), the IT industry (Head of Corporate Finance and IR, entory AG) and Securities Exchange (Head of Issuer and Investor Markets, Deutsche Börse AG) sector. Margaret Dezse is the leading partner of Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Service. She possesses great knowledge in the field of acquisitions, mergers and company valuations. In the last 23 years she gained experience in several industries in connection with privatizations, domestic and international company sales, investment strategy formation and sales processes.



Deputy director, Issuers Acquisitions Division, Budapest Stock Exchange

Márton Paulovits started working at the Budapest Stock Exhange’s Issuers Acquisitions Division in 2016, and he is the Deputy Director of the division since 2017 October. From 2011, he has worked in various international consulting companies. In 2012 he obtained his MSc degree at Corvinus University of Budapest, specialised in investment analytics. His professional focuses are the development and implementation of strategies for potential stock exchange issuers, assistance and advice regarding capital market ecosystem and product development. He regularly gives speeches on professional forums about capital market funding and public capital market presence.



Managing director, PRIMARE Partners

Ádám Hegyi is the managing director of PRIMARE Partners. With 21 years of investment banking experience his practice area is execution of corporate acquisitions, corporate sale processes and capital market transactions for his clients. So far he successfully managed about 100 deals both in Hungary and in other CEE countries. He is regular presenter in conferences and lecturer of M&A and capital market topics in English and in Hungarian. He is the chairman of the Budapest Stock Exchange Committee of Issuers and member of the Stock Exchange Advisory Body since its foundation.



CFO, Duna House 

Dániel Schilling is the chief financial officer of Duna House Group. He started his career at Zurich Financial Services and continued at Concorde Corporate Finance Ltd. (currently Concorde MB Partners). In the last 10 years, Daniel managed numerous M&A and capital market transactions in Hungary and CEE, including the IPO of the Company in November 2016. Daniel joined Duna House Group in October 2017 as the head of investor relations and M&A, and from August 2018 he is responsible for the financial, controlling, and accounting operations of the group, as well.

Nemescsói András has been leading the Litigation & Regulatory practice group of DLA Piper Hungary as a partner since 2010. His field of expertise includes financial regulation (investment services, banking, stock exchange and clearing), litigation with a focus on international arbitration (based on Bilateral Investment Treaties), proceedings related to financial and corporate law, as well as consulting on state aid. Joerg Bauer is the owner, President & CEO of TUNGSRAM GROUP. Previously he had been President of GE Hungary. Prior to this role Joerg was the CFO for GE Healthcare in CEE. Earlier experience includes international Finance and Management assignments with Audi and Mettler-Toledo, partly also based in Hungary. Born and raised in Germany, Joerg started off as an apprentice banker with a local branch of Deutsche Bundesbank and holds a double Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and in International Management (CEMS MiM) from Cologne and Corvinus, Budapest; earlier he had been a one-year visiting student at Oxford University. He started his career as a member of GE Capital’s Financial Management Program in London. He serves as the president of the Board of Trustees of the Sports University in Budapest. He also co-leads the Innovation Task Force of the Hungarian American Chamber of Commerce and is one of the two vice presidents of the Hungarian Association of International Companies. Recently Joerg became the president of the advisory board of the Corporate Volunteering Council, Hungary. 2017 Joerg was named Expat CEO Hungary of the year.



Sándor SZABÓ
Private banking director, MKB Bank 

Sándor Szabó is the Private Banking director of MKB Bank. He obtained a degree in economics in 1997, specialised in finance. After university he worked in various treasury and corporate areas at K&H Bank and Citibank until 2006. Between 2006 and 2009 he was an Investor Relations Manager at KBC Group in Brussels. For more than seven years, he was managing director at K&H Private Banking from 2009 until 2016. Istvan Mate-Toth is Deputy CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange, responsible for business development. He spent over 18 years with Credit Suisse, first as an equity analyst, and later as Managing Director heading the Emerging Market Equity Research business and serving as Co-Head of European Equity Research. Istvan joined the BSE from the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK, where he worked at the UK Listing Authority  managing teams and projects related to primary markets policy and regulation.

Kata Lódi started working for the Issuers Acquisitions Department as a legal counsel in 2016. She is mainly dealing with potential Issuers, with the establishment of the Budapest Stock Exchange ecosystem, and with the ELITE Programme. Ms. Lódi earned her law degree at the University of Szeged (Faculty of Law and Political Sciences), after the legal bar exam she got her commercial lawyer degree at ELTE Institute for Postgraduate Legal Studies and passed the Hungarian Stock Exchange Exam at Central European Broker Training Foundation. Ms. Lódi gained her capital market experience at CIG Pannónia Life Insurance Plc as IR officer, and at the Hungarian Central Bank as a capital market supervisor.

Ágnes Pellion has been leading EY Hungary’s communications since September 2017. Her responsibilities at the consulting firm include branding, as well as spearheading priority business development projects. She has more than 17 years of industry experience, including a public affairs and communications director position at Coca-Cola Hungary.
