Richárd VÉGH

Richárd Végh was appointed CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange on 1 January 2016.

 

He was elected as the Chairman of the Board on 16 March, 2017. Previously he worked at the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB) from October 2013 to December 2015, as Director of the Capital Market Supervision Directorate and was responsible for prudential supervision of capital market institutions in Hungary, market surveillance examinations concerning market manipulation, insider trading, and unauthorized financial services and was also responsible for the capital market issuer licensing.

 

From 2004 till 2013 he worked at Budapest Stock Exchange in various positions.

János SZABÓ

He studied foreign relations at the University of Economics in Budapest. Starting his career in foreign services, he continued in various finance, accounting and consultant positions in the private business sector.

From 1995 he took various senior management positions in finance and business at the Hungarian subsidiary and the European head office of Delco Remy, an American automotive industry supplier. Later he became CFO and managing director of a joint venture between Delco Remy and Hitachi.

He joined Magyar Telekom in 2003 as the Finance Director of the Fixed Line Services of Business. In 2008 he became the Group Controlling Director of Magyar Telekom. Besides the continuous renewal of the controlling activity and the strengthening of the international cooperation he also took part in the management of key operational and strategic corporate projects. Since April 2013 he serves as Chief Financial Officer of Magyar Telekom.

Noah M. STEINBERG

In his current position since 1999, he was responsible for establishing WING and oversees the company's investment and development businesses covering all market segments - office, industrial and logistics, retail, hotel and residential - and its real estate services portfolio. He is also the chairman of RICS in Hungary. Graduated from Princeton University (Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University – BA) and the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna – MA). Speaks English, Hungarian, French, German and Spanish.
